With iOS8 in the horizon, you may want to back up your device before upgrading to the new OS. iTunes is not really the best tool for backing up a device, especially when you can’t even choose a location to store the backup. If you had trouble dealing with iTunes in the past like me, you may want to check out CopyTrans Shelbee.
CopyTrans Shelbee has just come out of Beta, but the software appears to be working smooth with all kinds of Apple devices. Unlike iTunes, this software is so easy to use, even a child could handle it to back up their device. Currently, Shelbee lets you perform on-demand incremental backups, restore iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch from any PC and most importantly, it allows you to change the iOS backup location/drive at your preference.
