Hello! So the lovely Kate from intothestratosphere tagged me in the Confessions of a Shopoholic Tag the other day, so I thought it would be fun to join in! Here are the questions and answers below…
Would you consider yourself a shopoholic?
Yes! But more with online shopping as I live in a little town with only hairdressers and the occasional decent charity shop! As soon as pay day comes I am browsing online, spending pennies like there is no tomorrow. It’s quite dangerous really!
How would you classify your style?
I don’t really know? I never really followed fashion and I guess I kind of do more so now, but I have never been one to want to look like everyone one else. I say my style can vary to whatever I feel like, from Grungy to Girly. I wear whatever I feel looks good really. I like to mix and match!
What store can you not leave without buying something from?
Topshop, that’s why I hardly ever go in there when the bank balance is a little low! With makeup, if I’m a bit skint I have to literally divert myself from Boots or Superdrug because I am guaranteed to always stop and stare and end up buying something I don’t actually need. I think every girl does that though!
Where do you find your best deals?
Urm…that’s a hard one really! I guess I am always sure to find something cheap but lovely in H&M, plus they have really good affordable basics in there.
What designer are you willing to splurge on?
I have to admit, I’m not really a designer kinda gal! I tend to spend my money more on makeup than fashion, but I have always longed for a Chanel handbag. So, if I ever have enough money to splash on one, I probably will!
Do you have a go-to shopping outfit?
Nope not really, just something casual and comfy, as I tend to get pretty stressed and flustered every time I go shopping haha!
What is your guilty pleasure?
Anything that’s pretty and I’m onto it! But, makeup…every pay day is spent searching for new purchases!
What is the one piece of clothing you can’t live without?
A long vest black top, sounds boring but I literally wear it with everything, as an alternative to a skirt with leggins. So if the top isn’t long enough to wear with the leggins, I will pair it with a long black vest top underneath.
Who is your style icon?
I don’t really have a style icon as such, but I do really like Alexa Chungs style, casual but chic! I like anyone who has individual style and isn’t afraid to wear what they want, rather than what is in fashion right now.
