TELEPHONE SPECS; Comparison of OnePlus 11 vs Pixel 7

Let’s focus on the camera specifications of our two competitors first. Starting with the Google Pixel 7, the camera’s 50MP primary sensor will have an 84-degree field of view and an f/1.85 aperture. Along with the primary camera, there is a 10.8MP selfie camera and an ultrawide camera with a 114-degree field of view.

The OnePlus 11, on the other hand, includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 image sensor that works with a 32MP Tele-Portrait sensor and a 48MP ultrawide camera. A 16MP camera is located up front on the smartphone for selfies.

HDR DAYLIGHT, Comparison of OnePlus 11 vs Pixel 7

Let’s take a closer look at some photos taken using phones in bright daylight now that we’ve covered the camera specifications. You should be aware, first and foremost, that the OnePlus 11 takes images with a warmer tone. Additionally, even while the device takes slightly crisper pictures out of the box than the Pixel 7, you can take even more detailed pictures utilizing the built-in high-res mode.

As a result, the smartphone will take a 50MP photo, which is perfect for taking landscape photos.

The Pixel 7 has a 50MP sensor as well, however, users can only take pixel-binned pictures. As a result, for the sake of this post, we have taken photos from the two phones that have pixel-binned.

As stated before, there is a pronounced variance in the color temperature of the phone images. As an illustration, you can see that OnePlus’ output leans towards warmer tones if you look at the image that links above. For instance, the red fire sign appears fairly brilliant in the picture.

The smartphone also makes information from the dark stand out more clearly at the same time. The Pixel 7 on the other hand prefers to deepen the shadows to heighten the drama of the picture.

Zooming in on the gray car as it approaches the rear of the fire sign makes the same thing clear. You’ll see that in the OnePlus image, the front two types are crisper and have more details.

OnePlus’ Hasselblad calibration also has a tendency to make foliage yellow, which isn’t great. For example, the tree at the building’s rear has a yellowish tint that is, to put it mildly, odd-looking.

EXAMPLES OF PHOTOS; a Comparison of OnePlus 11 vs Pixel 7

This next example photograph also shows the same. As you can see from the redder-than-usual flower pots, the OnePlus 11 has once again captured a warmer image. Also, the grass in the photo looks to yellow.

On the bright side, the image’s corner sharpness is a little bit better than what the Pixel 7 would provide. The AC units on the building on the right really look a little bit crisper in the composition of the OnePlus 11 at a 100 per cent crop.

Similar to how you can see that the OnePlus 11 has improved the colours in the following comparative image. The same is apparent if you observe the hue of the leaves or the taillights of the now-defunct hatchback parked next to the structure.

However, the composition of the OnePlus 11 is also clearer and more detailed when cropped closer. In fact, the green generator at the rear of the OnePlus’ photo can easily see at a 100% cut.

On the other hand, strange artefacts have marred the Pixel’s photograph. In conclusion, the Pixel 7 produces photographs with better color accuracy while the OnePlus 11 produces photos with greater detail.

THE CLOSURES

Even when using smartphones to take close-up photos, the environment is unaltered. In light of this, you’ll observe that while both smartphones take pictures with lots of details, the OnePlus 11 tends to brighten the colours a little. The same can see in the photograph of the orange blossom, which OnePlus’ lens makes appear especially vivid.

On top of that, you’ll note that the flower’s petals appear to meld together at 100% crop. On the other hand, the output from the Pixel 7 has effectively exposed the vibrant orange hue and the composition is free of any color blotting.

The same is true of the following photograph of a maroon blossom. Here, the Pixel photo shows the petals to distinct and structured, but the OnePlus photo’s excessive post-processing obscured some finer details. Do not misunderstand us; both images are equally appealing and will glam up your Instagram page nicely. However, pixel-peepers will notice that this composition of Pixel is a little bit superior.

THE SUPER-WIDE

In terms of ultrawide photos, the OnePlus 11 has a little advantage. This is due to the device’s ability to capture 48MP UW pictures, which provide superior clarity at a narrower crop. Having said that, you may choose between the two if you want to stick to pixel-binned samples.

As an illustration, both phones produced admirable details in the middle of the frame of the sample shot that is linked above. The photographs also don’t have any discernible fringing, and the margins of the composition are filled with tonnes of details. In fact, the image from OnePlus has more vibrant colours and a slightly wider field of view. In other words, the photograph takes the OnePlus 11 shows more of the scene.

HUMAN SUBTITLE

Beautiful pictures of people also takes with both phones. However, in order to make the snaps even more distinctive, each gadget adds its unique taste.

For example, the OnePlus 11 tends to make the subject’s face appear brighter. Additionally, because it takes pictures with a somewhat warmer color tone, you’ll notice that items in the background typically have rich, brilliant colours.

The Pixel 7, on the other hand, takes pictures with a somewhat colder color tone. Additionally, the smartphone adds a different structures to the area surrounding the subject’s face to enhance its contrast. We really enjoyed how well the smartphone took pictures in very light conditions.

In light of this, you’ll see that both photos give incredible details about the subject’s face if you examine the camera sample that includes above. In spite of this, Pixel’s photograph has a significantly better exposure of the sun’s rays hitting the subject.

The subject’s face in the OnePlus image has a small amount of highlight clipping. Additionally, you’ll see that the backdrop leaves in OnePlus’ image look to have been altered. But in Pixel’s photo, the situation still seems genuine.

You can see some lens flare in the OnePlus 11 photo in the one that posts above as well. Despite having a somewhat higher degree of sharpness than the Pixel 7’s image, the picture appears to be in inferior shape.

The output from the phones is comparable to one another under optimum illumination, notwithstanding this. The OnePlus picture is now a little brighter, as expected. Additionally, the smartphone has slightly jazzed up the colours, as to seethe colours of the subject’s sweatshirt. Because of this, you’ll see that the hoodie’s braids seem eerily brisk and scorching.

THE SELFIE

In terms of selfies, the Google Pixel 7 beats out the OnePlus 11. The front-facing cameras on both phones are now taking similarly detailed pictures in the daylight. You can really see how effectively both phones recorded the subject’s facial imperfections in the photo that is linked below.

If anything, the picture taken with the OnePlus 11 looks a little bit beautiful, and the subject’s lips look rosy in the picture. The subject’s cheekbones and nose also cover with white spots. The pictures are level pegging apart from that.

But keep in mind, the same applies to portrait photos as well. You would actually struggle to detect any differences between the shots, from the effectiveness of the blur effect to the clarity and details in the images.

That said, when you attempt to shoot pictures with the light source present, the situation for OnePlus deteriorates. To that purpose, the smartphone has trouble adequately exposing the scene, and the skin tone of the person is frequently artificially enhanced. Additionally, the front-facing camera on the OnePlus 11 can only capture 1080p videos, unlike the Pixel 7.

On the other side, Google’s product can shoot up to 4K content at 60 frames per second, which is fantastic. After all, is said and done, we will recommend the Pixel 7 to fans of selfies.

 ELECTROPHOTO 2X

Contrary to common perception, the Google Pixel 7 can also take excellent telephoto pictures. In reality, the smartphone uses a crop of its primary sensor to produce images that are on par with those taken with a specialised 2x Tele lens. On the other hand, the OnePlus 11 comes with a specialised Tele sensor that can also take images at a 2x zoom.

It should come as no surprise that both cameras take excellent pictures at 2x. The image of the maroon flower connected above shows how the OnePlus 11 now takes somewhat crisper pictures.

In this image from OnePlus, the flower’s petals seem more organised. The OnePlus 11 could also latch on to the topic far more quickly, as well, as we discovered.

But the gadget also has a tendency to splotch exceptionally vivid colours. The same may be seen in this photograph taken by OnePlus of a yellow flower, where the petals appear to blend together. Rest certain that if you wanted to take zoomed pictures, you could use any of the two phones.

DARK MODE FOR THE LOWLIGHT

In dimly lit environments, the OnePlus 11 dominates. In order to do this, the smartphone took more detailed pictures with less lens flare after the sun had set. You can see how much better the light coming from the bulbs is resolved in OnePlus’ offering by taking a look at the image that is linked below.

Similar to the last example photo, you can see that in OnePlus image, the scene is brighter and gives better sight. Additionally, the device has once more improved its ability to resolve lamplight.

A GAME OF SHUTTERS

With the OnePlus 11, OnePlus is offering its best effort. Don’t get us wrong; the phone still needs improvement. In actuality, we considerably appreciated the Pixel 7’s color science.

But the OnePlus 11 also does a lot of things well. For starters, in low-light conditions, the gadget captures photos that are more information-dense. Additionally, the smartphone’s main camera focuses quickly and typically captures attractive images.

High-quality telephoto photos may be easily taken with a smartphone. The OnePlus 11 is therefore just a few updates away from unseating the Pixel 7, even though Google’s device is still our favorite of the bunch.
