Great Scott! They are coming back. Back to the future..
The DeLorean Motor Co. is now making plans to revive the iconic DeLorean that became a world-wide sensation in the 80′s after it was featured in the popular film series, Back to the Future. Despite the help from the movie, the company discontinued the production of the car after making about 9000 DeLoreans. Now, these vehicles will be released as movie replicas. According to The Orange County Register the upcoming modified DeLooreans will look almost exactly like the one from the movie as they includes all the awesome stuff like flux capacitors, plutonium gauges, pull-open the gullwing doors and even the Mr. Fusion nuclear reactor, just as seen in the movie series. And yes, there will also be a stack of time circuits to set a destination before you hit 88-mph. Just don’t expect to go anywhere but on the road.
“Back to the Future’ is getting bigger and bigger, especially among kids who watched the movie in 1985 and now have enough money to own a piece of it,” said DeLorean Motor Co. mechanic Danny Botkin.
