What I'm wearing: Urban Outfitters dress, woven fedora, initial bar necklace, Aldo sandals, Zimmermann beach bag (here are some similar bags from Shopbop that I love)What I wouldn't give to have my very own boat. A gorgeous vessel that I'd name "Bathing Beauty." I'd only wear white linen dresses and Sperry Top Siders while on board. With my love at helm in his captain's hat and seersucker, Styx's "Come Sail Away" and Jay-Z's "Big Pimpin'" booming from the speakers, we'd cruise around Chicago's lake shore. I'd Instagram hundreds of pictures with the hashtag: #imonaboat, pop bottles of champagne, and do cannonballs with my girlfriends into the Play Pen.
For now, until my nautical days arrive, I'll settle for scoping out Chicago's beautiful harbors, dressed in my summer's best, in search of the one and only thing better than a boat of my own: A new friend with a boat.
