Flinders street Station
(Tours)
Come Alive in Melbourne -Travel Dossier

Its a most famous railway station of melbourne & 103 years old .
Victoria lead the way in Australia with the first railway line from Flinders Street to Sandridge in 1854 which was situated in Port Philip Bay. This was only 19 years after the establishment of the city that was already the fourth largest in the British Empire.
We invite locals and tourists to join our tour for a wander around one of the busiest stations in the world. Your tour starts off under the clocks which has been Melbourne's favorite meeting for decades. From there it takes you over the concourse, along its platforms and through its subways as you are taken back in time to the period of romantic travel.
Discover some of the thousands of stories and people connected with the social, commercial and architectural history of this grand building. After years of intensive research, MELTours has uncovered many of the little known treasures related to the station.
