For several years now, 5k runs (3.1 miles) have been sweeping the nation, but there’s one that seems to rise above the rest. The Color Run is the self-proclaimed happiest 5k on the planet, and from the look of its participants, it must be true. Color runs aren’t about competition. They’re about having fun with friends. They foster community and togetherness. Everyone is fist-bumping and high fiving!
What’s the color?
Imagine dashing through a dust cloud of rainbows. Essentially, that’s what a color run is. As participants run each kilometer, they are engulfed in colored powder. No need to worry about safety; the powder is 100% natural.
So grab your bestie, boyfriend/girlfriend, or whole crew, and sign up! You can check here for a list of times to see when the Color Run will be in your city.
