A Sri Lankan Android developer team named GTS has just launched their debut Android mobile game, Colombo Racer. This game has become the first Sri Lankan-made Android game to land on Google Play.
Colombo Racer is this team’s first attempt to enter the Android world. So, it doesn’t look as great as other games out there on the platform. But, it’s a start. This simple over-head-view racing game is more than enough to ignite the enthusiasm for Android gaming in all Sri Lankans.
Android is slowly spreading across Sri Lanka as all the youngsters are looking into replacing their old mobile devices with super-fast Android smartphones and tablets. This brings a new era to the Pearl of the Indian ocean. Without doubt, we will get to see many more Sri Lankan-made Android games and apps landing on Google Play, very soon.
