COLLEGE RADIO PICK OF THE WEEK!
KBVR FM out of Oregon State University is definitely doing something right. Not only is their submission the winner for the second time in 3 weeks, but the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System has declared them the winner for the Best College Radio Station at a university of 10,000+ students!
Their submission is from Cosmo Sheldrake with his new single, "The Moss". Take a look at why this was their pick and stream below...
My love of TED talks led me to the melodic force of Cosmo Sheldrake. His heavy, razor-sharp beats, whimsical use of multiple instruments and refreshing innovation makes you feel like you’re hearing a dwarf star get swallowed by a cosmic galaxy. Coming from London, England and only 24 years old, he’s a teacher, producer, multi-instrumentalist, beatboxer, and vocalist that released his first single “The Moss” this month. This sound is what the indie genre is desperately attempting to find and with a world of indie music all sounding like they’re trying to achieve innovation, Cosmo Sheldrake stands out as a genuine source of talent and promise and holds a scintillating future.
