Class Dismissed!

I had mentioned how I had signed up for two classes, and subsequently had to drop one. I attended the other class for the past three Wednesday nights, and boy am I glad I did! It was called “Caring for your Collection”, and it was taught by none other than Mr. Darrell Pinckney! Long time readers of the Mercheum Blog may remember Mr. Pinckney as the conservator from whom I purchased the Casper board game. He has been teaching at Schenectady County Community College (SCCC) for a number of years. I learned a lot in a short time, and hope to be able to apply this new knowledge to the permanent collection.
