I've actually tried The Clarins Skin Illusion Loose Powder Foundation before but after using it two or three times, it ended up getting thrown away or given to a friend because I always prefer liquid foundation, however I was sent this from the lovelies at Clarins and so gave it another go. Damn, it's hard being me! Lolz.
I figured the best way for me to use this was to apply a light coverage liquid foundation to my face first, and then apply this on top as if I was 'setting' my Foundation. This combination seemed to be a winner for me. My skin didn't feel as 'tight' as it usually would with mineral makeup and I did achieve the medium - full coverage I was hoping for.
I didn't feel like I had to reapply it all night long but I did feel as though my skin was a wee bit chalky. I maybe went overboard using it?
I think I may experiment with different brushes (this comes with a mini tight bristled brush) and continue to use it on top of my liquid foundation because I was really impressed with the lasting power of it. I'm pretty sure that this will be ideal for Christmas nights out.
Have you tried out the Clarins Skin Illusion Loose Powder Foundation?
