City and Colour Played Terminal 5 [photos]

City and Colour (@cityandcolour) packed Terminal 5 last Wednesday night with hundreds of die hard fans that knew every word to every song. Dallas Green may be backed by a full band with a country vibe now, but he knew better than to have them play every song. The best parts of the night were when the band left, leaving room for the audience to have a voice.

Before he played “Body In A Box” he made everyone put down their phones, asking them not to record video for at least one song. He explained that we get so caught up in trying to remember moments that we don’t get to experience them to the fullest while they’re actually happening. So if you’re having trouble finding a shaky, blurry, distorted cell phone video of “Body In A Box” on YouTube, it’s because Dallas would rather have you experience it live.
