As a fan of his music for years, I was absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity earlier this year to welcome Dallas Green, also known as City and Colour, to Steven Hero Productions in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for a Buzzsession taping. Playing two tracks off his brand new album, The Hurry and the Harm, “Two Coins” and “Of Space and Time”, Green was mesmerizing in his minimalistic approach to these songs which sound wildly different, yet equally gorgeous, on the album. ‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs.
