Cian Dorr from Oxford to NYU

With some delay (apologies), let me report that Cian Dorr, who works not just in philosophy of physics, but also in metaphysics, epistemology, and philosophy of language, and who is currently at Oxford University, has accepted a senior offer at NYU, beginning this fall. (Jessica Moss, working in ancient philosophy, also currently at Oxford, also accepted a senior offer from NYU.) This will further strengthen the philosophy of physics wing at NYU, after the recent hire of Tim Maudlin, and the less recent hire of Michael Strevens.
