Christmas Tingles

Happy December 1st !! Is that even a thing? Well I guess it can be, and since it is the month of Christmas and all things bright and sparkly including advent calendars I reckon I can get away with saying it.  Now aside from opening up a bottle of Taitt. and donning my new Zara Christmas jumper (which I had been keeping for “just the right” occasion) we were delving into our cupboards and hauling out our boxes of christmas decs. As you know (or you definitely should if you’ve been following me on insta) we went off to India and since the parents are returning just before Christmas I felt we should put up the tree before we left. I also thought it would be lovely to come back to, and I was right, there’s nothing like enjoying a cup of hot tea in front of the fire and a beautiful sparkling tree. What goes deliciously well with champagne and Christmas music? Some Montenebro goat’s cheese, Peter’s Yard crackers and apple, just like we enjoyed (slightly adapted) when we went down to L-town.
