Christmas Shopping at the Prudential Center

In my twenty-eight years of Christmas shopping, I've learned a few things:
  1. From November to January, Saturdays are always a bad idea.
  2. It will be inexplicably hot in every store and you will want to carry your coat. This will be nearly impossible unless you ask for an obnoxiously large shopping bag for a tiny purchase.
  3. Shopping for others is fun and anxiety-inducing. So I can't do all my Christmas shopping in one swoop without becoming majorly irritated. Two hours of Christmas shopping is my personal limit before I run screaming from the mall.
  4. Going back to #2- it's cold outside but it's hot in here! Iced Starbucks anything saves the day.
So, obviously, the most important thing I've learned is to dress for comfort! My princess coat is warm but light-weight in case I need to carry it. Underneath, I'm all about layering a graphic tee with a lightweight kimono-like sweater. Topped off, of course, with a Coven-inspired hat.
