I have recently been approached by Social Fabric for a shoppertunity. I was asked to document my shopping trip from beginning to end with regards to Christmas gift selections at Boots. So on Thursday, having dropped the kids to school I went to my local Boots to buy a few gifts. You may know that I am originally from Turkey and therefore we don't celebrate the Christmas. But we celebrate the New Year and give presents to each other . I went to the store to buy a present for a friend who just had her second baby. Our Boots is pretty large with two floors. On the first floor there is a big section for Christmas products with a 3 for 2 offer.
In this section, there are literally hundreds of gift sets, for men,women and children. Great quality and value.

Despite spending about an hour in the store I could not decide what to choose. The staff were great,asking me if I needed any help at all. The store was getting busier now and I was getting tired and felt overwhelmed with the huge range of products. So I decided to go out for a walk for some fresh air. Whilst walking I realized I was not sure whether to buy something for the new mum, the children or the whole family. I returned back home and a few hours later, I decided to check the online store of Boots.
With a cup of tea and the comfort of my own home, I browsed the online store. It is very easy to navigate and very user friendly.
The gifts are all in one place with all the promotions clear. You can browse the gifts "for her", "for him", for "kids", for "all" . If that is not enough, you can find inspiration and ideas with top 10 gift ideas. You can also choose your gifts according to the price range and brand.
The website gave me the opportunity to browse almost all the departments . With a clear state of mind, I realised that an air filter could be a very useful present for my friend's family. Their elder child suffers from asthma and allergies,so the air filter could improve her health. The new baby could also benefit from the product.
The reviews about the product revealed that the purchasers were happy with it. I checked a few other websites to compare the price. Boots had a really competitive price,about 10% cheaper. So I ordered it to collect from the store next week. That way I don't need to pay for delivery either.
I regularly shop from Boots but I had never purchased anything from them online. I am very pleased with my purchase for a new year present and I hope that it will help improve the health of my friend's family.
