Hellooo shimmers,
9 days to christmas, 9 days to go <3
Lots if people have lots of different traditions when it comes to Christmas Day food.
We usually host the Christmas Dinner, it's normally me, my mum, my dad, my brother, granny and grampa but this year we also have my auntie, uncle and lillttle cousin... We are going to have a very busy house!!
Normally we get up Christmas morning open our presents and have breakfast in our pjs. Then about 12 we get dressed for Christmas dinner and eat around 3pm. I love Christmas dinner and my mom makes the most amazing Christmas dinner!!
We have the full bonanza:-
Starter- Smoked Salmon & Prawn Platter with Bellini's OrA fruit mix with mandarins, strawberries, pineapple and melon Main- Turkey with stuffing, sausages wrapped in bacon, sprouts, carrots, parsnips, Roast potatoes, bread sauce, cranberry sauce, gravy, bread sauce Pudding- Christmas Dumpling (made by my granny)Or Proffiterals After Pudding (usually around 8pm)-Selection of cheeses with crackers and oatcakesAndAfter Eights
Now Officially Stuffed!!
I would love to know what your traditions are and what you love and hate about the Christmas dinner.
I love the turkey and all the trimmings but hate sprouts... They're just not for me!!
Christmas is closing in on us...ahhh!!
