Chocolate ‘n’ Chestnut Mousse

Mokapink Chestnut MousseIngredients:

250 gr double cream,
200 gr dark chocolate,
250 gr chestnut purée or spread,
2 tablespoons dark rum.


Coarsely chop the chocolate in uniform pieces. Meanwhile bring to boil a pan filled with water. Toss the chocolate pieces in the bowl which you’ll have previously positioned over the boiling water making sure that there is no contact between the chocolate and the water. Melt the chocolate stirring gently. Set the melted chocolate aside and leave to cool for a couple of minutes. In the meantime whip the cream.

Fold the chocolate into the chestnut purée, stirring well. Then fold in the rum and whipped cream.
Spoon into glasses. Chill until set.

For 4 persons.
Style: Mediterranean.
Difficulty: Easy.
Preparation time: 20 minutes.
Cooking time: 10 minutes + chilling time.
