If you love watching makeup tutorials on YouTube, chances are you’ve come across Australian, Chloe Morello. I’ve been watching her videos for years so I was very excited to hear that she had collaborated with British brand Ciate, to produce a holiday special, the Chloe Morello x Ciate Beauty Haul which has sold out multiple times.
The Chloe Morello x Ciate Beauty Haul features a 15 eyeshadow palette, with the shades chosen by Chloe, as well as a mini of Ciate’s Wonderwand Mascara and a mini version of the Liquid Velvet in the color ‘Pin Up’. All of this is housed in a gorgeous navy clutch with rose gold accents, I think this set is impressive in value!
The eyeshadow palette comes with a large mirror and features 9 matte shades and 6 shimmer shades. I really love the range of shades in this palette as it can take you from day to night, with its neutrals, warm browns, purples and and golds. It definitely feels like a complete palette that you could use for any occasion and I’ve been reaching for it quite regularly.
The mattes are smooth in texture with a nice level of pigmentation, blending out well and making them great transition shades in any eyeshadow look. The lighter shades have slightly less pigmentation but they work very well as a base.
The shimmers come in gorgeous shades, my favorite being ‘happy’. These shadows are actually quite pigmented but they really stand out when used wet as it really intensifies the shimmer finish, almost transforming them into a metallic look! When applying to the eye dry, I’d suggest a patting motion or using your finger to achieve a deep shimmery finish!
The mini Wonderwand Mascara included is a fabulous mascara that volumises and lengthens the lashes whilst staying put all day. I’m really impressed with it! The Liquid Velvet in ‘Pin Up’ is one of their best sellers I believe and is a lovely berry based nude that applies nicely onto the lips with a comfortable finish.

Overall, for $70, I think that you receive amazing value with this Beauty Haul as all 3 products perform really well and you receive a bonus clutch as well! For fans of Chloe’s or makeup lovers in general, I’d definitely recommend having a swatch and play when you’re next in a MECCA store!
