So I was at dinner last night with some friends and one of my friends showed me the picture to the left and I tried my hardest not to laugh because this had to be a joke. The question stated that the student chooses a song that is meaningful to them and explain why it is meaningful. This what the student had to say about Chief Keef’s song Love No Thotties “It’s meaningful to me because you can’t love, trust, feed a thot especially not make her feel welcome at your crib. In God we trust thots we lust. #OBlock #3hunna I Don’t Love No Thot .” I hollered and then I had to stop and shake my head because this right here is that ish I don’t like.
Is this what our students are learning? How not to love, trust, feed ,or house THOTS (That Hoe Over There). Because if thats the case I don’t need my child growing up in that generation. I hope the teacher took the child to the side and talked to him or her. In my opinion that child needs to be worried about their education because at the rate they’re going they won’t be able to afford to feed, love, or house themselves, let alone a THOT. This is so embarrassing that Chief Keef has this much power over the children. Nothing is wrong to listen to some basic ass trap garbage music. Because I love listening to music like that. But I would never write an essay about it and if I did, trust and believe it would be bomb. And not have any hash tags. Who does that? For real has tags on paper? I could go on and on about this but I refuse to waste any more time of this. I’m just going start praying that our youth does better than this because if we have to rely on them for our future…
