Last night, I ventured into the back yard to check on their food and water. Every time I turned around, Rex, our white rooster, was behind me all puffed up- looking like he was planning his attack. He had his feathers all ruffled to the point where he looked about twice his normal size and let me tell you, he’s not a small bird to begin with.
I ran at him a little thinking he would back down… run off somewhere and crow. But, NO! He popped up in the air trying to give me a little scare. Rex has such a distinct attitude.
Our chickens are super entertaining. That is more than reason enough to love having chickens.
