Chicken Tikka
I love to restaurant special recipes at home. There are tons of restaurant recipes, that are not so easy in my to do list. This is one among that and now I am very confident in doing it. :) I would also explain you to the difficulties I faced in doing this.Ingredients: Boneless Chicken- 1 kg Curd- 100 ml Chilly Powder- 1 tbsp Salt as per taste Tandoori Masala- 2 tbsp Red Food Color- a pinch Ginger garlic paste- 3 tbsp Oil- for brushing Lemon Juice- 3 tbsp (Serving Suggesion) Chat Masala- to sprinkle on top of tikka Method: Wash and clean chicken. In a bowl mix curd, chilly powder, salt, tandoori masala, ginger garlic paste, red food color to make a smooth paste. Add boneless chicken and mix well.
Refrigerate for 3 hours (preferaby overnight) Now pre heat oven to 200°C. Stack marinated chicken in the skewers.
Note: Pl refer the video below, the tikka attachment of the oven falls down while baking and hence I changed it to bake it on tray. Once the chicken is well baked on tray, remove the skewers and apply oil on top (just brush) and bake in wire rack to make it crispier from outside. Bake them for 10 minutes by placing on tray.
Turn the skewers the other way around and bake for 10 minuts.
Now remove skewers apply oil and the liquid collected in the tray and bake for 3 minutes by placing skewers on wire rack.
Once baked, remove from wire rack and serve hot.
Brush lemon juice on top of tikka and sprinkle some chaat masala.
