We all have an inner shopaholic in all of us. We just don't know how to say no, especially when it comes to shoes. I'm pretty sure that I am not the only one that has bought a pair of shoes on an impulse because it was hard to resist. Unfortunately, some of us don't have the luxury of a walk-in closet. Thankfully, that is not a problem when it comes to organizing your shoes. I personally dislike shoe racks because I feel they can look a little untidy. Here are a few tips to help keep your shoes organized and save some space!
Bookshelf Storage
A bookshelf is a great way to store your shoes neatly. Sometimes we are limited with space and you want to be able to maximize the space you do have. You are able to use vertical space; furthermore, you can display your shoes. It's always good to see your shoes because it allows you to wear your shoes more often.
Built-In
If you're the adventurous type and like to take on a challenge, this project is for you. There's no better way than creating your own built-in shoe storage. You get to create a unique storage that's just for you! Of course, built-ins are more permanent. If you're renting you're better off sticking to the bookshelf storage.
Ottoman Shoe Storage
There are two types of shoe people- those who like to visually see what they have and those who go with the " out of sight, out of mind" school of thought. For those who don't necessarily like to see their shoes, the ottoman shoe storage is a perfect way to store your shoes away. Even though the price may be a little steep, it's worth it! An added bonus is that you get a two in one - a storage and fabulous new piece of furniture to add to your space.
