The scent is unbelievable”.

What does Chestnut Brown Sugar Fragrance Oil smell like?

This fragrance oil by Nature’s Garden is a succulent aroma that is reminiscent of fall time with top notes of caramel, brown sugar, nutty characters, maple, and butter; followed by powdery middle notes; sitting on a fresh, full-bodied base note of chestnut.

How do our customers use Chestnut Brown Sugar Fragrance Oil?

When used for homemade room scenting and candle making, Chestnut Brown Sugar Fragrance Oil can be used in Joy wax, Pillar of Bliss, WOW wax, and Soy waxes like 444, 415, and 464.  In fact, this sweet scent works very well in 100% soy wax and makes smells amazing in homemade wax tarts.  Our recommendations for coloring your handcrafted candles are to use 3 drops brown Spectrum Liquid Candle dye plus 1 drop orange and 1 drop yellow liquid candle dye per 4 pounds of wax or shred a small amount of an orange, brown, and yellow color block into your melted candle wax.  This sweet and delicious scent can also be used in reed diffusers or with smelly jelly crystals.  One of our customers even reported that when using our chestnut brown sugar aroma in reed diffusers “it filled up my room almost immediately.”

For all of our bath and body crafters, this chestnut aroma is amazing in homemade bath products and is a best seller for many.  The recommended usage rate for this strong fragrance oil is 5%.  For those of you that are cold process soapers, it is time to get super excited!  Here are the official cold process testing results:  No acceleration, no ricing, separates after pour but reabsorbs, discolors to a milk chocolate.  Very strong scent retention.  It also has a Vanillin Content of 5%, so Vanilla White Color Stabilizer is recommended to stabilize discoloration in finished bath and body products. However, when used in cp soap it does discolor to a milk chocolate color, which is absolutely perfect for this fragrance.  The wide variety of homemade products that customers use this fragrance oil to scent are: melt and pour soap, whipped body butters, bath bombs, sugar scrubs, melt and pour soap, conditioners, and bath gels.  Finally, our coloring suggestions, for bath and body products we recommend using brown, orange, and yellow soap colorant in the amount that satisfies you. Never use candle dye in any body products.
