How Do Our Customers Use Cherry Crumb Pie Fragrance Oil?
This fresh baked cherry aroma can be incorporated into wide variety of products. Some customers create room scenting products with this fragrance oil. We recommend no more than 50% of this cherry fragrance oil in projects like incense and potpourri. Cherry Crumb Pie Fragrance Oil can also be used to create homemade aroma beads. Those making candles can use Cherry Crumb Pie Fragrance Oil up to 10% with paraffin waxes and vegetable wax. This cherry scent was also found to do very nicely in WOW Wax and is nice and strong in soy waxes. If you wish to color your candles, we would recommend four drops of red plus two drops of burgundy Spectrum Liquid Candle Dye per 4 pounds of wax. You can also color your melted wax with a small amount of red and burgundy color blocks.

Because this fragrance oil is not body safe, we thought we’d offer an alternative way to enjoy Cherry Crumb Pie. The following is an easy recipe for actual Cherry Crumb Pie!
Ingredients
1 1/3 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup flour
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 cans red sour pitted cherries
1 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup Sugar
2 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp salt
1 unbaked pie crust – 9 inches
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Stir 1/2 cup juice from canned cherries into 1 1/3 cup sugar, 1/4 cup flour, and almond extract. Cook over medium heat, while stirring, until the mixture thickens.
Combine 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons butter and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Blend this mixture until small crumbs form.
Drain the remainder of the juice from the cherries. Put the cherries into the pie crust. Cover your cherries with the thickened juice mixture. Top with crumbs.
Bake your pie for 35-45 minutes in the 425 degree oven. Remove and let cool for at least an hour. Enjoy!
