Ingredients
7 1/2 oz flour
2 1/2 oz icing sugar
6oz butter
1 orange rind & juice
Cherry Brandy Mince meat
Add flour, cold butter, sugar and orange juice
Slowly add a little orange juice a little at a time, just enough to form a rough dough
Wrap in cling film and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes
Slowly roll out the dough ( shown by my little helpers) and using cutter, cut the bottoms of the pies
Then roll out a little more pastry to roll out the tops
Place into a greased muffin tray, spoon in the mince meat mixture and add the top of the pies back on. Give it a quick milk wash and sprinkle a little brown sugar
Bake in the oven at 200c for 20 minutes until nice and golden.
