Cheers to 2014

CYMERA_20140101_162147Happy New Year fashionistas! 2013 was a year of change. I am grateful for everything that happened last year because it truly made me a better person. I started the year with a job I hated and a boyfriend I thought I could not live without.

At the end of April, I had the two most significant moments of my year. I got an amazing job offer and my boyfriend of two years decided to end our long distance relationship. So, while I was thrilled to be starting my new job, I was an emotional wreck.

It took some time to pick myself up, but I can honestly say that my breakup was the best thing to happen last year. I reconnected with friends and made many new ones, my focus on my blog was reinvigorated, and most importantly, I learned that I can stand on my own. This time last year, I really could not say that. My hope for 2014 is to continue in the progress that I have made in becoming a stronger person.

I have plans in 2014 for my blog as well fashionistas! With your help and an awesome support system of family and friends, 2013 was a very successful year. My promise to you is that I will be posting 3 to 4 new posts a week at least. There is a slight lapse on fashion content so expect to see more of that as well! Thank you for all of your support!

Remember fashionistas, today is the first  page of a 365 page book, write a good one! This is YOUR year.
