Yamaha holds great reputation for its wide range of musical instruments, including pianos and synthesizer, which goes back to 1887. However, the company’s latest invention is something out of the ordinary.
This weird thing you see here is a full body drum kit, Yamaha calls it Raijin (means God of Thunder). It was develop by Yamaha’s experimental project AH A MAY, it’s actually the company name spelled backwards. For this weird experimental project, Yamaha has switched their design teams for musical instruments with motorcycle design team.
That’s what happens when motorcycle engineers try to design musical instruments. The end result was a totally weird drum kit with drums all around. The drummer actually has to turn 360-degrees to play this drum kit.
