Time-travelling sounded a big boring for most people back in the day. But, that changed after we see it in the Back to the Future movies. DeLorean can now be a bit old for the time being but, it’s still pretty awesome that it can fly and even travel in time and space in style. LEGO geeks can now own that time machine for themselves, thanks to LEGO’s official Back to the Future playset, officially unveiled at San Diego Comic Con.
According to the LEGO CUUSOO blog, “The Back to the Future Time Machine was submitted by two fan builders and selected last December to be the next LEGO CUUSOO set.” And, it was made “based on the 1980s film trilogy starring Michael J. Fox”. The set includes some cool stuff for both kids and adults to play with including the Flux Capacitor, a time display tile, the Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor, and LEGO Minifigure versions of Marty McFly and Dr. Emmet “Doc” Brown.
LEGO Back to the Future set goes on sale globally on August 1 for about $35.
