Cheap Blue Yonder brings a rare grungy element into what would otherwise be straightforward Americana with their new single, “I’m Not Trying”. The distortion hits right before the minute mark, throwing a nighttime stroll into frenzied convulsions — then right as you settle into the change-up, they do it again. Their laid-back sound makes you want to sit-in on their rehearsals with a cold one in hand because, not only would this sound amazing live, it sounds like a good time.  Made up of four guys in NYC, Cheap Blue Yonder has a new full-length called Light Sleeper out March 10, and we’re honored to present you with a new track from that album.
