As you are probably aware, one of our modes of delivery for local customer has been Next Day Delivery for the past two years and we have been happy with Ta-Q-Bin thus far.
Since 1st Oct 2014, Ta-Q-Bin has increased their delivery rates by $1 across the board with $2 for same day delivery which you can read about here. Thus far we have absorbed the price increase ($6 and free for purchases above $65) to avoid disruption to the arrangements that our customers are accustomed to.
Yet this has been unsustainable, not just in terms of costs but operationally as well.
The good news is we will maintain our delivery rates
- i.e. $6 flat for purchases below $65, and free for purchases above $65.
The only difference is that instead of next day delivery, it will be delivered 2 working days later- yes it’s a dampener to wait another day for your tea but good things are worth waiting for.
i.e. If the order is placed before 6 pm on Monday, you will receive it on Wednesday (12-5pm for office addresses, 5-8pm for residential addresses)
