It wasn't that we didn't like her doctor. It was that the doctor's office was only available a few hours a day. I had a list of tests and appointments that could only be completed between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
I was so frustrated with the system that I finally asked the scheduler if everyone understood that I'd have to pull the blond twin out of school for each appointment. And, I'd have to pull her out of school for a full day each time. They knew and didn't care.
Given how much time the blond twin had already missed, I decided to make some phone calls. I found a wonderful pediatric cardiologist at another hospital. We met with him today. A few minutes into the appointment, it was clear that this was going to be a good fit.
