This is an invitation to participate in the XXIV International Summer School in Philosophy of Physics, Black Holes and the Information Loss Paradox

The topic of the school is “Black Holes and the Information Loss Paradox” and it will feature lectures given by Daniel Harlow (MIT Center for Theoretical Physics), Erik Curiel (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Fakultät für Philosophie); and seminars given by Sebastian de Haro (University of Amsterdam), Christian Wüthrich (University of Geneva), and Patricia Palacios (University of Salzburg).

Payment includes: program attendance, school materials and coffee break refreshments. Please note that accommodation, lunch and dinner are NOT included.

Lunch and dinner will be available at the university refectory. If you want to have lunch/dinner there the cost is about 10.00 Euros for lunch and 10.00 Euros for dinner. If you do not want to have lunch/dinner at the refectory, there are a number of sandwich places nearby.

*Call for Papers*

We wish to offer to three young researchers interested in the topic of Black Holes and the Information Loss Paradox the opportunity to test their skills by presenting their original papers to the other participants of the School in one dedicated session. Interested graduate students, postgraduates and early researchers (PhD degree obtained after January 2016) are invited to submit an extended abstract (no longer than 2000 words) suitable for blind review together with a title page containing info about the author(s) and highlighting the corresponding speaker.
