The Swiss Physical Society will hold its annual meeting this year jointly with the Austrian Physical Society in Vienna, 18-22 August 2025. It solicits the submission of abstracts for presentation at the meeting in all fields of physics, including the philosophy and history of physics.
On the first day of the meeting, on Monday, 18 August, there will be a symposium in honor of the 100th birthday of quantum mechanics. This symposium will feature Christoph Lehner (Max Planck Institute for the History of Science Berlin), Alyssa Ney (LMU Munich), David Kaiser (MIT), and Beatrix Hiesmayr (Vienna). In addition, Claus Beisbart (Bern) will be giving a plenary talk.
