Stopped at Santa Maria airport to try out the airport restaurant and do some shooting on my drive home from SoCal. While scoping out the location, this Grand Caravan fired up and began to taxi for takeoff. Founded in 1994, Mokulele is a commuter airline based in Kona, HI that began operating California passenger flights in 2016. Flights from Santa Maria take passengers to Los Angeles International Airport. Current plans of the airline are to phase out their four mainland-based Cessna Grand Caravan 208B aircraft with new EX models. Mokulele Airlines is the largest passenger operator of the Cessna Grand Caravan 208EX with 11 in their fleet, all operating in Hawaii. Nikon D7100 W/18-200mm.
