Introduction
creepyhalloween – stockarch.com
From creepy dolls to ghost trains and Faust himself Halloween is the time that we celebrate all the things that people find spooky or haunting. Timeless classics are interpreted in new and even spookier ways, and more recent creepy stories get settings that are beyond being unsettling, they are downright nerve wracking. If you listen to this show and don’t come out a little disturbed by some of the things that you’ve heard, seek professional help. If, on the other hand, you think I need professional help for presenting some of these pieces, well you may actually have a point.

Readings
This weeks show includes musical settings of two texts. The first is the classic The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. The other piece is known as The Russian Sleep Experiment, a story that appeared on the Creepy Pasta website. The original author of the piece is unknown, and it is believed to be in the public domain for this reason. As mentioned during the show, The Russian Sleep Experiment is the text used for The Madness That Lurks Within by Scott Lawlor & Rebekkah Hillgraves.
