CenterFrame, a global community of filmmakers, and FrightFest, the legendary horror and fantasy film festival, are teaming up for the first time, and are proud to announce three exciting initiatives.

CenterFrame will sponsor FrightFest 2023’s Short Film Showcase, the festival’s renowned selection of genre shorts from around the world. The line-up will officially be announced on August 3.

CenterFrame will also spotlight five short films created by CenterFrame members, as part of FrightFest’s Discovery strand. CenterFrame members can submit their films  and will vote on which five will be shown.

Plus, CenterFrame will also host a networking event, where members and filmmakers attending FrightFest can come together and build new connections.

Ian Rattray, FrightFest co-director said today: “FrightFest is thrilled to partner with CenterFrame. Like us, they are dedicated to providing new filmmakers with the opportunity to network, collaborate and get their films seen. As Co-Founder & CEO of CenterFrame, Bernhard Pucher says – “It’s a match made in hell”!

Pucher added: “I couldn’t be more excited to partner up with FrightFest. Back in 2018, FrightFest offered their giant stage to my film Ravers, and now they’re offering that stage again to our buzzing global community.”

Established in 2000, FrightFest is a renowned Horror & Fantasy Film Festival dubbed “the Woodstock of Gore” by Guillermo Del Toro. It will be hosted at the legendary Cineworld Leicester Square from Thu, Aug 24, 2023, to Mon, Aug 28, 2023.

CenterFrame is a club for filmmakers where members from around the globe develop scripts and films together, vote every three months on which projects to fund, and then help get them seen. No middlemen. Just filmmakers.
