What a amazing sight it must be to look down at earth from up there, and to celebrate National Space Day on May 4th we visit the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
It is here, at the the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, where you'll find unique and special exhibits like the Spark Lab that is a exciting interactive space where you become engineers working on design challenges, from cleaning up the ocean to creating a flying machine. The hands-on activities inspire students of all ages to use critical thinking skills to solve problems and realize they, too, can be an inventor.
Previous exhibits at the Space & Rocket Center have included the world renowned Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination exhibit. Presented by Bose Corporation - this was one of the largest temporary exhibit in the Space Center's history.
From Star Wars to ISS: Science on Orbit, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center continues to engage and educate us on our ever changing world above and beyond our imaginations. With their help we get a true sense of what it's like to live and work in space as you walk through the space station in ISS: Science on Orbit. Experience a model of NASA's Payload Operations Integration Center, where scientists and engineers on Earth manage the complex, science experiments that astronauts conduct on the International Space Station.
The U.S. Space & Rocket Center has one of the largest collections of rockets and space memorabilia in the world.
