This cat was painted by Ruskin Spear (1911-1990), a British artist who lived in Hammersmith, in London, where I also lived when I was growing up. I actually went to his studio when I was a teenager, as he was painting a portrait of my best friend Cathy. I like cats -- in fact I have three of them -- but I think this is only the second cat painting I've put on here. Enjoy!
