Today I would like to share another of the older items in the permanent collection, and much like the last exhibit, I must apologize for the condition of the item. Sliding tile puzzles are very collectible, and in good condition can get quite expensive. I am happy to have a copy of this item at all!
This puzzle was made by the Roalex Company. It seems all they made were sliding tile puzzles, but they made LOTS of them! In addition to today’s Casper puzzle, I saw Bozo the Clown, Mighty Mouse, Magilla Gorilla, Huckleberry Hound, The Beverly Hillbillies, The Munsters, Astro Boy, The Banana Splits, Courageous Cat and Beetle Bailey. There is even a Superman version in the Strong National Museum of Play!
