Casmara Face Masks: Review

By Hollysbeautybox @hollysbeautybox
I was on Twitter one day when a girl I follow, tweeted praising a face mask by Casmara, claiming it left her skin feeling better than ever. I tweeted her telling her to tell her I needed to get my hands on one and low and behold, the lovelies over at Casmara PR contacted me to send me one to try out and feature on my blog.
Casmara Face Masks: Review
When this arrived, I was kind of half expecting it to arrive as a single sachet but actually this arrived in what I can only describe as a hot drinks flask, You know the kind I mean? the ones you used to take to work on cold days and then realized the water tasted horrible after a few hours..
Anyways, inside the 'flask' was two sachets, a plastic spatula thing and a little cream alongside the instructions.
Basically. you mix the two sachets together in the lid of the 'flask' and use the spatula thing to stir it all together.  Mines was bright red and contained ECOCERT® certified Goji berries, quinoa seeds and honey.  the texture is smooth but also has small pieces in it (the goji berries) so don't be concerned about that if you are using it.
I applied the cream first (as advised) and then began using the plastic spatula thing to apply it to my face. I made sure to apply a thick layer and there was roughly a third of the product left at the end.
The instructions advise you wait roughly 15 minutes before peeling this off, which by the way girls. was SO therapeutic!  I left mines on for a little bit longer because it has a wet texture even when peeling off but I was unsure of if this was supposed to feel dry.
My skin felt super soft and cool (not cool as in LL cool J cool, cool as in cold cool). I noticed my dark circles under my eyes were significantly less and there was less redness on my skin.  All that from a 15 minute mask? I was sold!
Did it give me the best skin of my life? yeah, for a while anyway! I would recommend using this once a month or maybe less - it's a luxurious feeling mask and will 100% leave your skin feeling in it's finest condition.
I've never used a mask like the Casmara Beauty plan Collection Balancing Algae Peel Off Mask.  I loved this and would definitely cough up the £9.99 every month or so to keep my skin in tip top shape.
Have you given this a whirl? what did you think? are there any alternative masks you would recommend?
xxxxxxx
