Capybaras Are More Than Just Adorable Creatures [stream]

While capybara are native to South America and known to make grunting and squealing sounds, members of the band Capybara (@capybaramusic) are currently located in Kansas City, MO and are known to make beautiful music. While they’re located almost smack dab in the middle of the United States, their music is definitely more suited for the coast. Although their sophomore album Dave Drusky (the follow-up to their 2009 debut Try Brother) was released in February of this year, the reverberated, dreamy guitars, echo-y vocals and crisp beats make it the perfect album for summer — or the perfect soundtrack for a montage of skateboarding in slow-motion, swimming in the ocean in slow-motion, and other slowed down, summer-related activities.
