Caped CrusaderMy cape is no longer available, but check these out:  1 / 2 / 3
Capes have swooped back into style for fall. I purchased this cape two years ago, and I still love it today. I can't wait to dust it off and binge-wear it for the next few months (give or take depending on Chicago weather)!
Capes are obviously a perfect compliment to tailored bottoms like skinny jeans and straight-leg pants paired with booties or tall boots, however this year I am going to be trying mine with skirts and dresses. This cape a bit too short to do a dress or skirt of the same length, yet when done right it has a fabulous, dramatic impact. On cold days, why not bump up the sophistication factor and slide on some long leather gloves? Finally, couple your cape with an oversized clutch as opposed to an over-the-shoulder bag.
