Canon EOS 100D – World’s Lightest DSLR Camera

If you’re interested in photography, you should check out this two new DSLR camera’s unveiled by Canon. Rebel SL1 (EOS 100D) and Rebel T5i (EOS 700D) are the latest two new camera’s that Canon has added to its’ DSLR line up. While both these camera’s seems amazing, most attention grabbing device is the Canon Rebel SL1, which company claims as the smallest and the lightest APS-C DSLR camera in the world.

Measuring at only 116.8 x 90.7 x 69.4mm Rebel SL1 camera is even small enough to hold in the palm of your hand. It has a 18MP APS-C Hybrid CMOS AF II sensor and gets powered by Canon’s DIGIC 5 processor. This camera is also capable of recording 1080p Full HD video’s at up to 30fps.

3-inch touchscreen LCD on the back helps to navigate through photos and offers few filters for creative photo capturing. However, it would definitely look weird when you have to use some big lenses on this tiny camera.

Canon plans to release this small camera in the U.S. for $650 USD. Are you gonna get one?
