Candle Lovin'

Candle Lovin'
It’s an everyday occurrence that I burn some sort of candle at home, I just love the smells of them and the way that they can instantly improve your mood; relaxing, invigorating, they’re kind of my drug. But this little addiction can get rather costly, rather quickly, and so I thought that I would share with you today some of my favorite budget finds for those of you who want the hit (can you tell I’ve been watching too much Breaking bad recently?) without the price.
Cote Noire Vert Anis - Whilst this doesn’t come from a budget brand, per say, at £10 a pop for these little pots of joy, it’s still less than some of its pricier counterparts. I like to burn this in quick bursts, just enough to release the scent, but not so much as to waste even the tiniest bit, but as it is made from such high quality wax, this really isn’t a problem. Vert Anis, French for lime green, didn’t ya know? is a blend of refreshingly citrusy lime, and verbena leaves with slight minty overtones. It reminds me of being on holiday, with the smell of Margaritas, and is the perfect scent for waking you up. Plus, the French inspired packaging is just too hard to say no to.
Wax Lyrical Orange and Clove – This was originally bought out as a Christmas scent, but if you thought that would constrict me to burning it only in the festive months, you would be wrong. A delicious citrusy smell, based on tangering, orange, peach and pink-grapefruit this is definitely not one who are not keen on those kind of scents, but for those who are, it is perfect. Currently in Waitrose for just £2 each, it justifies (slightly) how much I burn this, you really can’t go wrong.
Voluspa Peach and Ebony – Another fruity scent, I had wanted to get this forever and was so happy when I received it at Christmas. Peach is one of my absolute favorite smells ever so I was really intrigued to see how it would relate in candle form. Safe to say, it’s been an amazing success. This candle is neither too fruity, nor too heavy but sits perfectly somewhere in between. It’s slightly spicy, deep and rich, but definitely not too overbearing, so I would say that this is a neutral candle that would probably suit all tastes.
So that's everything I'm loving at the moment, what about you, do you have any recommendations?
