Cabbage Thoran | Cabbage Poriyal

Cabbage Thoran | Cabbage poriyal is a common dish in South Indian meals. Its so yummy with steaming rice and sambhar. I love to have cabbage half cooked and crisp. Adding shredded coconut adds more flavor to it. 

Ingredients:Chopped cabbage- 1 cupShredded coconut- 5 tbspOil-1 tspMustard- 1 tspChilly Powder- 1 tspSalt as per tasteMethod:

Cabbage Thoran | Cabbage PoriyalChop cabbage and set aside.Inch the shredded coconut in a mixer grinder to powder it.Heat oil in a wok and add mustard.When mustard crackles add cabbage, salt and chilly powder and saute it till cabbage is half cooked and crunchy.Then add the powdered coconut and fry for another 2 minutes.Remove from wok and trasfer to serving bowl.Enjoy with rice and Thakali Kara Kuzhambu.Cabbage Thoran | Cabbage Poriyal
