BYS Caviar for Nails

By Sparklingker @sparklingker

Happy Wednesday! Felt like this week has flew by! I’m loving this, next thing you know it’s going to be the weekend again. In case you didn’t know, Chemist Warehouse is having 50% off the entire range from Rimmel, Maybelline, Revlon and Sally Hansen. I was so excited when I first heard about this even though I don’t “need” anything. I stopped by after work today and picked up a few goodies, can’t wait to try them all!

I first heard about micro bead or caviar nails from Michelle Phan. I thought they were the cutest nail art ever! However when I was checking the prices of micro bead kits available at the time, they all seemed to be sooo expensive. Then came BYS! Their caviar kits are so affordable, priced at $7.95 each. I was sent Hot Talent (pink) and Fanionista (green) for trial (super lucky!!).

How to get this look:

  1. Use a base coat
  2. Apply a coat of the BYS polish and let it dry
  3. Apply a second coat of the BYS polish and while it is still wet dip finger into caviar pot
  4. Press gently on the beads to ensure it is secure
  5. Use the brush to remove any excess beads
  6. Finish off with a top coat to seal the beads and you’re done. Easy peasy!!

Tip: Work on one finger at a time and place caviar pot in a large shallow box while dipping or else it gets kinda messy.

If you want to try something different on your nails, this is definitely unique. The finished look is mega cool looking, reminds me of 100s and 1000s. Can’t stop looking at my nails!! If you were wondering about how long the beads stay on, let me tell you not long at all! It started coming off within hours and I didn’t even do any housework. BYS range is available from K-Mart, Gloss Accessories, Cosmetics Plus, Ice Accessories, selected pharmacies and specialty stores or online through Fashion Addict.

Have you tried micro bead nails before?

Product was sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.
