Like most people since the start of the mask mandate due to the pandemic, I also had a problem with maskne. I was breaking out so bad. So what I did is follow the advice of a dermatologist and created a skincare routine that is hydrating, soothing, and prevented those maskne. WHAT IS IT?
Good Molecules BHA Clarify Gel claims to soothe irritated blemish-prone skin with the help of this weightless gel-cream. PERFORMANCE
APPLICATION: Apply all over cleansed skin after toner and serums. Follow up with a moisturizer because this is not moisturizing enough even for those with oily skin. It is also highly recommended to wear SPF in the daytime while using this product.
SCENT: It's unscented.
PACKAGING: If you're a skincare savvy person, you will love Good Molecule's boxes because they put a breakdown of their products' full ingredients. While the BHA Clarify Gel Cream itself comes in an aluminum-type tube so it's kinda hard to squeeze out all the products.
FORMULA & TEXTURE: As stated in the product name, it is a gel-cream type. It is lightweight and suitable for all skin types especially those with oily skin.
MY EXPERIENCE
At my very first application, it feels a bit tacky but it absorbs fast into the skin. But take note that this is not a moisturizer. This is more like treatment or serum so you will still need a moisturizer after.
After a month of using this product, I did notice that my face is less irritated and I don't break out anymore after using a mask. And after 6 months, I'm free of my acne breakout. I only get acne or two during my period but sometimes I do not. I also noticed that I have fewer blackheads even though I haven't got a proper facial treatment since 2020. It truly targets breakouts, irritation, and congestion. Best of all, it's affordable compared to many BHA treatments in the market.
