LEGOLAND, Windsor, Berkshire
Everybody loves Lego, and LEGOLAND Windsor in Berkshire was awarded a silver medal in the British Travel Awards 2011 as one of the UK’s best theme parks. With over 55 interactive rides, building workshops, live shows, driving schools and attractions, all set in 150 acres of beautiful parkland, the fun never stops. Best of all, all of LEGOLAND features wide flat paths that make everywhere accessible with a pram or pushchair, and you can even hire a pushchair when you get there if required.
The Eden Project, St Austell, Cornwall
Fun, fascinating and educational, the Eden Project is more than a conservation project; it’s a place to enjoy fantastic gardens and vast dome-shaped greenhouses filled with the rarest and most exotic plants from every part of the world. There are live shows, activities and more fun things for kids to see and do than they could ever manage in a single visit. There are a number of ways of making your way around the zoo including wide pushchair-friendly pathways that lead to all of the exhibits and attractions where plenty of space for viewing has been provided too. The kids will love visiting practically every animal you can think of and Chester Zoo also has plenty of changing facilities, places to eat and well-maintained loos. Pollok Country Park, Glasgow
Voted Europe’s Best Park in 2008, Pollok Country Park in Glasgow, Scotland is the perfect place for a family picnic among beautiful woodlands and open green spaces. Despite its rural nature, Pollok Park offers miles of pushchair-friendly tarmacked paths making a stroll through the natural beauty of the grounds easy and enjoyable. Wildlife in the park includes Highland cattle and shire horses and there’s a play park for kids as well as the pushchair-friendly museum, Pollok House, to explore.

The Science Museum has won a host of tourism awards and it’s easy to see why. The building is spacious and the exhibits are well laid out such that everything is accessible with a pushchair or wheelchair.
